Job summary

Gamma Holdings is seeking a Fire Fighting Technician in Dubai to repair, install and maintain mechanical systems related to fire protection. You will inspect components, test equipment and coordinate with supervisors to ensure compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has two years of experience in fire protection installations, holds a Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, and demonstrates strong English and Hindi communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in installation and maintenance of fire fighting systems.
• Diploma/ITI Certificate in Mechanical.
• Excellent communication skills (read & write).
• Languages: English & Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Attend to repair installation and maintenance of mechanical fire protection systems.
• Provide solutions to mechanical problems for proper maintenance.
• Identify tools and machineries required for safe operations.
• Identify machinery faults and inform supervisor for repair or maintenance.
• Inspect and test Fire Fighting equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Follow HSE policies; daily reporting to supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks to ensure facility is properly maintained.

Job description

Fire Fighting Technician

• Attend to repair installation and maintenance of mechanical systems related to fire protection systems.
• Provide solution to any mechanical problems or failures in assigned systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems necessary for proper maintenance.
• Identify tasks related tools and machineries required for safe operations.
• Identify machineries faults and inform supervisor for repair or maintenance.
• Conduct inspection and testing of Fire Fighting equipment (Fire Sprinkler Hose Reel FM200 Fire Pump and any Fire Fighting & Fire Suppression System) to ensure they are working properly at all times.
• Follow the required procedures and HSE policies while performing the work .
• Daily report to supervisor.
• Perform any other tasks requested in order to assure the project facility is properly maintained.

Qualification & Experience

• Two years experience in Installation Maintenance of Fire Fighting Systems
• Diploma/ITI Certificate holder in Mechanical
• Excellent communication skills read & write.
• Language : English & Hindi
