Job summary

SIBCA ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT COMPANY LIMITED in Dubai seeks a Site Supervisor for Fire Pump and Special Systems installations. You will lead a team of trades, ensure compliance with project drawings and approved method statements, and coordinate activities with other contractors on site.

The role requires strong supervision, safety focus, and the ability to train new team members to meet current industry standards. Based in Dubai, the position covers turnkey on-site installation activities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in installation of Fire Pump, Special Systems

Responsibilities

• Supervises Charge Hands, Electricians, Pipe Fitters, Helpers, Welders.
• Reviews project activities, equipment, and sites daily for compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
• Directs pipe fitters and helpers for marking, measurement, fabrication, installation, and testing per drawings and method statements.
• Monitors daily site activities and labor productivity.
• Coordinates with other contractors on-site for smooth installation.
• Highlights site-related issues to supervisors.
• Maintains tools and equipment and keeps an inventory.
• Locates and designates job site locations, equipment, and structures as needed.
• Collaborates with personnel to ensure alignment of site activities.
• Delegates jobs to team members per capabilities and project requirements.
• Meets with managers to resolve conflicts per standards/requirements.
• Trains new members and provides ongoing education to meet latest industry specs.

Job description

• Supervises Charge Hands, Electricians, Pipe Fitters ,Helpers, Welders

• Review all project activities, work equipment, and sites every day to make sure everything is performed to company standards as well as to the latest OSHA regulations and standards.

• Direct pipe fitters and helpers for marking, measurement, fabrication, installation, and testing as per approved drawings and method statements.

• Monitor daily site activities and labor productivity.

• Coordinate with other contractors on-site to ensure smooth installation.

• Highlight to supervisors any site-related issues.

• Maintain all tools and equipment in working order and keep an inventory of the same

• Locate, calculate, and designate job site locations as well as equipment and job site structure locations as needed.

• Collaborate with other necessary personnel and supervisors to ensure all site and project crew activities are aligned and in sync.

• Delegate jobs to project members as determined by their capabilities and the general requirements of specific work projects and site parameters.

• Meet with other managers/supervisors and necessary personnel as required to fully resolve conflicts, complications, and other issues according to company and client standards/requirements.

• Train new members whenever they join the team and provide workers with continuing education according to the latest industry requirements so that all work meets the most current specifications.
