Work Locations

A Fire Command Center Operator for Conrad Dubai is responsible for planning, administration, and management of fire safety and life safety programs throughout the hotel to ensure compliance with all applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and standards concerning fire safety and life safety, as well as standards set by Hilton Worldwide.

What will I be doing?

As a Fire Command Center Operator for Conrad Dubai, you are responsible for the safety and security of all guests, team members, contractors, and visitors. This role also involves ensuring the safety of the hotel premises, supporting the assessment of fire safety and life safety performance, conducting regular performance evaluations, and coordinating work activities. Specifically, the tasks include:

• Conducting regular inspections of fire safety systems, fire alarm control panels, fire pumps, megaphones, eye wash stations, kitchen suppression systems, exit doors, fire extinguishers, and fire blankets.
• Maintaining logs, records, and documentation of work activities, dispatch, inventory logs, maintenance and repairs, updating fire safety books, training records, work permit records, incident reports, etc.
• Handling calls from other departments, guests, and dispatching security officers as needed.
• Diagnosing basic faults in fire life safety control systems and reporting issues to vendors.
• Managing contractors and arranging planned preventive maintenance of fire life safety systems.
• Conducting testing of life safety equipment.
