Job summary

A leading company in the UAE is seeking a Fire Alarm/Security Systems Technician for an outsourced position. The role involves installing and maintaining fire alarms, smoke detectors, and various security systems. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring compliance with civil defense and NFPA codes, as well as providing technical support. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive salary in the market.

Job description

  • Role - Fire Alarm /Security Systems Technician
  • Type - Outsourced
  • Location- Abu Dhabi/Dubai/North Emirates
  • Contract -6 Months extendable
  • Salary 4000-4500 AED

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance

  • Install fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, and related devices.
  • Install and configure security systems including CCTV, access control, intercoms, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operational and compliant.

Troubleshooting & Repair

  • Diagnose and resolve faults in fire detection and security systems.
  • Replace or repair defective parts, wiring, or equipment components.
  • Test alarm systems using test devices and maintain performance logs.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure systems are installed in accordance with civil defense and NFPA codes.
  • Maintain proper documentation for each installation including test reports, service logs, and compliance certifications.
  • Coordinate with civil defense or third-party inspectors for system approval and testing.

Coordination

  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and vendors for installation schedules and material delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required.
