Job summary

Halian is seeking a Security Testing Engineer in Abu Dhabi to join a leading fintech organization where security is embedded in development. You will perform security assessments of web, mobile, and API apps and conduct penetration testing to validate findings.

You will review code and architecture, support secure DevSecOps, collaborate with engineering to remediate risks, and assess containerized/cloud-native environments to ensure secure delivery of fintech solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of hands-on application security testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP standards and application security best practices.
• Professional certification such as OSCP, CRTOP, CCPT, or CMWAPT.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments of web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability validation activities.
• Review source code and application architecture for security weaknesses.
• Support implementation of secure development and DevSecOps practices.
• Work closely with engineering teams to remediate security risks.
• Assess containerized and cloud-native application environments.
• Contribute to secure delivery of scalable fintech solutions.
