Job summary

Sundus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Abu Dhabi to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software for fintech platforms and digital wallets. You will work on APIs, backend services, and integrations while applying secure coding practices and leading code reviews.

You should have 5–7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with secure coding practices.
• Experience with API design and integration is desirable.
• Familiarity with fintech platforms and payments systems is a plus.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable software applications, services, APIs, and backend components.
• Build and support fintech platforms, digital wallets, payment services, transaction processing, and financial integrations.
• Apply secure coding practices, participate in code reviews, maintain automated test coverage, and support vulnerability remediation.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, latency, and reliability, and support production issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, deployment inputs, and engineering records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to engineers.
