Job summary

IC Markets Global in Dubai is seeking a Mobile App Team Lead to guide the delivery and ongoing development of our mobile trading application for iOS and Android.

The role demands hands-on mobile development experience, leadership of a cross-functional team, and ownership of release processes to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

You will work closely with Product, Backend, QA, DevOps, Security, and Compliance to ensure scalable, high-performance fintech mobile solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• 2+ years in Mobile Team Lead, Technical Lead, or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience in iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and backend service integrations.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP, Clean).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and release governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide the mobile development team across iOS and Android.
• Own day-to-day execution, delivery progress, and priorities.
• Ensure all team members have clear responsibilities and timelines.
• Break down work into technical tasks and assign across the team.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Act as the first escalation point for mobile-related issues.
• Provide technical direction across iOS and Android.
• Lead design sessions to ensure scalable, secure mobile solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Support developers with complex technical issues and deliver proper solutions.
• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of the mobile app across iOS and Android.
• Define and enforce architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP, Clean).
• Ensure integration with RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs.
• Own and manage release processes for App Store and Google Play.
