Job summary

Aventus is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance function in the UAE. The role focuses on delivering timely financial reporting, robust controls, and strategic partnering with senior management.

With 10–12 years in finance and accounting, you will own budgeting, forecasting, regulatory filings and financial analysis in a fast-growing fintech environment. Strong IFRS knowledge and UAE compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of finance and accounting experience with leadership exposure.
•  Experience in fintech/financial services or fast-growing environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including A/P, A/R and cash management.
• Forecast cash requirements and provide liquidity visibility to management.
• Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and VAT filings.
• Develop financial KPIs and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Manage external audits and work with tax advisers and auditors.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment and internal controls.
