Job summary

myZoi, a fintech start-up in the UAE, seeks an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations and ensure IFRS-compliant reporting in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead the finance team, manage regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements across accounting, treasury, and financial systems in collaboration with other departments.

Strong UAE regulatory knowledge and leadership in a growing fintech are essential, with 10–12 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–12 years in finance and accounting with leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE financial regulations, IFRS, VAT and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including AP/AR, cash management and reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS-compliant financial reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with UAE authorities and audits.
• Manage internal controls and risk management, improving processes.
• Support tax compliance, VAT filings and regulatory filings.
• Oversee financial systems, optimize MS Dynamics/SAP/QuickBooks usage.
• Lead and develop finance team; collaborate with HR, Operations, Legal.
