Job summary

Boundless is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead the end-to-end engineering function across multiple product lines and regions in a regulated fintech/trading environment. You will translate business objectives into robust technical delivery, building high-performing teams and ensuring scalable, secure platforms.

You will collaborate with Product, Data, Security, and Executive Leadership to set technical strategy, standards, and roadmaps, while driving delivery discipline and regulatory alignment

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership experience in fintech/trading environments.
• Proven track record managing large, distributed engineering teams across products/regions.
• Experience delivering high-traffic platforms in regulated or security-sensitive settings.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the group-wide engineering strategy aligned with growth and technology vision.
• Lead multiple engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, platform, and infrastructure.
• Establish standards, best practices, and governance across development teams.
• Oversee design, development, and delivery of high-availability trading, brokerage, and fintech platforms.
• Ensure reliability, performance, security, and scalability across global markets.
• Guide architectural decisions, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives.
• Build and mentor engineering leaders and teams; drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Risk, Security, and Operations for aligned delivery.
• Translate business requirements into executable engineering plans with clear timelines.
