Job summary

Brainfreeze Interior Decoration LLC in Dubai invites a skilled Finishing Carpenter to join our interior fit-out division. You will perform finishing works on doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, counters and other joinery items, ensuring high quality and compliance with shop drawings and work instructions.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in interior finishing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a production team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Finishing Carpenter in interior fit-out/joinery manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of joinery and interior finishing works.
• Experience with doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, counters and custom joinery.
• Ability to work with hand tools and carpentry equipment.
• Good understanding of measurements, dimensions and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out finishing carpentry and joinery works for interior fit-out projects.
• Read and understand shop drawings, cutting lists, and work instructions.
• Perform final finishing works on doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, counters, partitions and other joinery items.
• Carry out cutting, trimming, assembling, fixing and installation of wooden and related materials.
• Edge finishing, sanding, polishing preparation and routing to achieve high-quality appearance.
• Install and adjust hinges, handles, locks, drawer runners and other hardware.
• Check dimensions, alignment, levels, gaps and overall finishing quality before dispatch to site.
• Rectify scratches, uneven joints, gaps and other finishing defects.
• Coordinate with carpenters, painters, polishers, machine operators and production supervisors.
• Ensure all items meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Handle carpentry tools and machinery safely and correctly.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area.
• Minimize material wastage and use materials efficiently.
• Follow all HSE and workshop safety procedures.
• Complete assigned production work within deadlines and production schedule.

• Perform edge finishing, sanding, polishing preparation, routing, and other finishing works to achieve a high-quality appearance.


• Install and adjust hinges, handles, locks, drawer runners, and other hardware.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience as a Finishing Carpenter, preferably in an interior fit-out/joinery manufacturing factory.


• Strong knowledge of joinery and interior finishing works.


• Experience with doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, counters, and custom joinery.


• Ability to work with hand tools and carpentry equipment.


• Good understanding of measurements, dimensions, and shop drawings.


• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.


• Immediate joiners preferred.
