The Opportunity

The Government Communications Department seeks an incumbent who provides artwork and technical support for the production of publications and other materials that give information about and create publicity for Zayed University. The role requires on-site presence at the printing press to proof and oversee the job through the print production process, and to troubleshoot post-press and pre-press problems that may arise.

The Responsibilities

• Provide basic graphic design and formatting for Zayed University's core publications.
• Prepare finishing art and formatting for a variety of Zayed University publications.
• Produce final artwork and coordinate closely with print vendors to ensure quality and timeliness during the production phase.
• Support graphic design efforts to help create and maintain a high-quality, unified visual identity for Zayed University.
• Assist in coordinating the storage, organization, and distribution of ZU publications throughout the university community.

The Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in graphic design or the graphic arts, preferably with experience working directly within a printing house; higher diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Highly proficient with Macintosh operating systems.
• Expertise in relevant graphic design software.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not essential.
