Job summary

VAS Global Services is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to drive financial planning and analysis in Abu Dhabi. You will translate financial strategy into robust plans, forecasts, and actionable insights, partnering with senior leadership to optimize resources and performance.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting while mentoring FP&A analysts and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, scenario planning, and management reporting.
• Power BI and Adaptive Insights experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Analyze financial performance, variances, and risks for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models and scenario analyses.
• Design and monitor KPIs and dashboards for company-wide performance.

About the Role

VAS Global Services is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in Abu Dhabi.

The FP&A Manager will play a key role in translating VAS's financial strategy into robust plans, forecasts, financial models, and actionable business insights. The role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes in collaboration with business units.
• Analyse financial performance, variances, trends, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Design and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track company-wide financial and operational performance.
• Prepare management reporting packages and presentations for the CFO, Finance Director, and executive leadership.
• Partner with Investments, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Regional/Country Finance teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation, improve profitability, and enhance overall business performance.
• Supervise and mentor FP&A analysts, promoting strong analytical and reporting practices.
• Support strategic projects and other financial initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis, or a related field.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, scenario planning, and management reporting.
• Proficiency in Power BI and/or other financial planning and analytics tools such as Adaptive Insights.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
• Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments; exposure to sovereign wealth funds, asset management, family offices, or similar environments is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA is preferred.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to regional offices when required.
