A glimpse of your typical workday

• Lead long-term financial planning, scenario modeling, and strategic investment decisions.
• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and major capital projects with financial rigor and insight.
• Establish and enforce strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, corporate policies, and international standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Monitor financial risk exposure and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Direct the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Present financial performance and key metrics to the Board and shareholders.
• Manage liquidity, capital structure, and funding strategies to support business needs.
• Optimize working capital and ensure sound treasury operations.
• Drive operational efficiency and cost management across departments and business units.
• Identify opportunities for margin improvement and process enhancements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Build cross-functional partnerships to support strategic business goals.

What will make you stand out

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification: CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/executive-level role.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or a related sector is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing large teams and leading finance transformation initiatives.
