Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai seeks a proactive Financial Analyst to support the Head of Financial Controls, Risk and FPA. You will perform cost analyses, risk assessments, and compile MIS reports to inform decision-making in a dynamic banking environment.

The role is office-based, full-time, and aims to develop local talent under Emiratisation. Strong analytical and communication skills, and attention to detail, are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry-level or 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or financial analysis, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline is required.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic proficiency is desirable for regional communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Controls & Risk by implementing financial control policies and maintaining GL integrity.
• Prepare and present standard MIS and KPIs to inform business decisions.
• Assist in cost analyses, risk reviews, and benchmarking against peer institutions.
