Job summary

TALENTS TIDE HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTING seeks a Finance leader in the UAE to oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. The role requires strong cross-functional partnering with operations, risk, and auditors, and involves international assignment considerations.

The incumbent will drive accuracy in financial data, manage internal controls, and support strategic decision-making in a dynamic, possibly multi-site environment. UAE-based relocation with potential DRC assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of FP&A experience in finance
• Background in budgeting and forecasting with variance analysis
• Experience with cost accounting in manufacturing or mining helpful
• Willing to relocate internationally and adapt to new environments
• Available to join with short notice and cross-cultural readiness

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per IFRS/GAAP
• Lead annual budgeting process and monitor performance vs forecasts
• Design and enforce internal controls to protect assets and data
• Monitor cash flow and oversee banking relations and treasury
• Lead finance team and coordinate with external auditors during audits

Job description

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting and compliance Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS or GAAP and ensure the company meets all statutory and regulatory filing deadlines
• Budgeting and forecasting Lead the annual budget process track actual performance against forecasts and flag variances to senior management with clear explanations and corrective recommendations
• Internal controls and risk management Design and enforce internal control procedures to protect company assets prevent fraud and ensure the accuracy of financial data across departments
• Cash flow and treasury oversight Monitor cash positions manage banking relationships and oversee working capital to keep the business liquid and able to meet its obligations
• Team leadership and audit coordination Manage the accounting and finance team set performance goals and act as the main point of contact for external auditors during year-end and interim audits

Requirements

• Willing to relocate to the Democratic Republic of Congo – Open to an international assignment and comfortable adapting to the work and living conditions in DRC, including remote site locations if required
• Manufacturing or mining industry background preferred – Prior exposure to cost accounting, inventory control, and financial operations within manufacturing or mining environments, understanding the unique cost structures and reporting demands of these sectors
• Minimum 5 years of FP&A experience – Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering with operational teams
• Immediate availability – Able to join without a long notice period or currently serving notice, ready to start within days rather than weeks or months
• Strong adaptability and cross-cultural readiness – Demonstrated experience working in emerging markets or challenging operating environments, with the resilience to manage finance functions under infrastructure and logistical constraints typical of DRC operations
