What you will do

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CPO, challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Fully participate as a member of the procurement leadership team, proactively contributing to key business decisions.
  • Establish finance as a true global business partner within procurement.
  • Manage relationships with the Group and external stakeholders, supporting the CPO as required.
  • Ensure that financial controls are robust enough to support the pace of growth and transformation.

Required skills to be successful

  • Education: Graduate caliber, qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Significant financial management experience in a multinational environment, with B2B/Retail/Automotive exposure being advantageous.
  • Demonstrable track record in identifying and delivering substantial business performance improvements through business partnering.
  • Basic knowledge of tax matters.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be helpful.

  • Drive the financial aspects of the procurement transformation project.
  • Manage financial components of global procurement contracts to ensure Al-Futtaim achieves best value.
  • Ensure effective financial systems are in place globally to deliver rolled-up global savings data accurately and timely.
  • Develop global financial policies for procurement.
  • Review procurement budgets and present quarterly updates to leadership.
  • Actively contributes to procurement transformation by working closely with leadership.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including local/global finance, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Undertake projects as required by the Head of Global Procurement or Head of Global G&A Controlling, Financial Controlling.

Governance & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce financial controls, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, and compliance teams to mitigate procurement-related risks and ensure transparency.
  • Oversee audits related to procurement finances to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting.
