The Role

The Financial Controller – RAK Porcelain will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the entire RAK Porcelain group of companies, including entities in the UAE, Luxembourg, and the USA. The role includes end-to-end financial management, statutory reporting, group consolidation, budgeting, direct and indirect tax and transfer pricing compliance and overall financial governance.

The Financial Controller will work in close coordination with The Finance Controllers in Luxembourg and the USA as well as the Group’s Holding Company RAK Ceramics Finance team to ensure consistency and alignment of financial practices across all the entities. The role is pivotal in supporting the business with financial insights, ensuring financial discipline, and maintaining adherence to group-wide policies and standards.

What You Will Be Doing

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for all RAK Porcelain entities
  • Ensure compliance with RAK Ceramics Group reporting timelines and standards
  • Lead preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the RAK Porcelain group

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for RAK Porcelain Group
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis to management

Subsidiary Oversight & Alignment

  • Provide functional oversight and support to finance teams in Luxembourg and USA subsidiaries
  • Ensure consistency in financial controls, processes, and reporting practices across all geographies

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure robust internal controls are implemented and adhered to across the RAK Porcelain group
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements in each operating jurisdiction

Business Partnering

  • Provide financial insights and decision-support to the Group CFO and CMO – RAK Porcelain and senior business leadership
  • Support commercial, operations, and strategic initiatives with financial modelling and analysis

Cash Flow, Treasury & Cost Management

  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations
  • Drive cost control initiatives and improve financial efficiency across the group

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop the finance team in UAE
  • Set clear goals, provide coaching, and foster a performance-driven culture across regional finance teams

Our Ideal Match

Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA (Finance) is a plus

Experience:

  • 10–12 years of experience in finance management, preferably within manufacturing or consumer goods with at least 5 years in a leadership or controller level role within a multi entity, multinational group.
  • Proven experience in group-level financial consolidation and financial reporting including preparation of financial statement under IFRS and knowledge of local GAAP in Europe and USA.
  • Hands-on experience in managing direct and indirect tax compliance, including transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions across borders.
  • Demonstrated success in leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, preferably in a dynamic or fast-scaling business environment.
  • Exposure to international operations, with a solid understanding of currency translation, cross-border cash flows, and regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Track record of working closely with Big-4 Auditors, legal advisors, and tax consultants in a group or holding company structure.
  • SAP ERP systems proficiency with strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
