Charterhouse is currently supporting one of our global brands, which is in the process of recruiting a Financial Controller at the senior manager level within their regional head office.

This position is designed to oversee and complete all financial analysis across the market segment and product lines within this retail and FMCG organization. It will also involve developing strong and mainstream reporting and commercial control capabilities. The Financial Controller will focus on financial planning and strategic support to the business, delivering analytical commentaries and reports to assess performance metrics, support business development, and conduct market analysis. Additionally, the role emphasizes core commercial finance, including ongoing analysis of supply chains and distribution models within cost management, revenue optimization, and partnership agreements.

The client seeks a professionally qualified accounting and finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) with a proven track record in a corporate controller and FP&A role, managing complex, multi-tiered business lines across regional or international markets. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of post-qualified experience and strong knowledge of the UAE and GCC markets, especially within FMCG or supply chain operations. Applicants should possess advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and modeling, with experience supporting senior management and broad reporting lines across finance, operations, and sales. The candidate should demonstrate an energetic, pragmatic, and diligent attitude to achieve departmental and corporate targets.
