Responsibilities:
- Act as the financial focal point for assigned projects, forging close working relationships with the Project Manager, Commercial, and Project Controls teams.
- Compile monthly and quarterly management reports of project-specific financials in the specified format.
- Ensure timely revenue recognition and adherence to IFRS standards.
- Manage the cost control process, including closely monitoring all costs incurred against the work budget and ensuring data integrity between Oracle ERP and project reporting.
- Provide the Project Manager with ad-hoc project-related financial and risk analysis to assist in decision-making.
- Maintain a database of project-related costs, provide estimating data for pricing tenders, and assist the contracts team in claims or variations build-up.
- Participate in cash management initiatives by following up on billing, collecting outstanding invoices, and identifying and prioritizing critical vendor payments to effectively manage cash outflows and minimize the use of petty cash.
- Supervise assigned project accountants, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Promote and engage in effective working relationships with auditors.
- Establish and maintain contact with banks, clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Attend meetings to provide fiscal advice and sound interpretation of policies and procedures.
- Perform other tasks as instructed from time to time.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Accounting and Finance within relevant industries.
