Responsibilities

  • Perform daily variance analysis and document discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with ICFR testing and RCSA procedures.

We are currently seeking a Financial Control Manager for our UAE operations. The role requires the following qualifications and skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

Professional / Technical Qualifications / Diplomas:

A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is mandatory.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of post-degree experience in the banking industry.

At least 3 years of experience in Financial Control & ICFR.

Specialist Skills:
  • Good knowledge of finance and accounting concepts.
  • Understanding of banking systems and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
Main Responsibilities:
  • General Ledger (GL) Management & COA Maintenance: Conduct periodic reviews, ensure completeness and quality of balance sheet substantiation, maintain the Chart of Accounts.
  • GL Substantiation & Reconciliations: Perform daily variance analysis, monthly/quarterly/annual reconciliations, document discrepancies, and coordinate reconciliation processes with branches.
  • ICFR Testing Compliance & RCSA Support: Ensure compliance with ICFR testing and RCSA procedures.
