Financial Communications Senior Role - Abu Dhabi

A leading Abu Dhabi-based business undergoing rapid transformation and international growth is recruiting a senior Financial Communications professional to lead high-profile activities, including IPOs, M&A, and strategic transactions. This senior-level role offers an opportunity to join one of the most ambitious organizations in the Middle East, playing a pivotal role in shaping and protecting its reputation globally. The position provides international exposure, strategic influence at the highest levels, and the chance to work in a dynamic economic hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute financial communications strategies related to IPOs, M&A, investor relations, and capital markets.
  2. Advise C-suite leadership on market-sensitive communications.
  3. Collaborate with legal, strategy, investor relations, and corporate affairs teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  4. Manage external agencies and media relationships to enhance global visibility and message discipline.
  5. Monitor financial and business media, manage issues, and lead crisis communications when necessary.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in financial communications within a multinational corporation, financial institution, or leading consultancy.
  • Expertise in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, investor updates, earnings announcements, and M&A.
  • Strong understanding of global media and investor expectations.
  • Ability to advise senior stakeholders including board members and executives with gravitas, discretion, and confidence.
  • Experience in or advising clients in complex, regulated sectors such as energy, infrastructure, or financial services.
  • Regional experience is valued, but the role is open to international candidates with global best practices and a record of high-impact work.
