We are currently seeking an experienced candidate to join our team at ALEC Group as a Financial Business Partner.

Job Overview:

The Finance Business Partner is a key player in supporting the company's strategic and financial goals by working closely with business units and budget owners to provide insightful financial analysis and decision support. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between finance and operations, ensuring financial performance aligns with the company's objectives.

The role requires close collaboration with budget holders and department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.

Responsibilities:
  1. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Work with department heads to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data.
  2. Business Partnering: Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  3. Financial Analysis: Perform detailed analysis, including variance, trend, and scenario modeling, to support business units in managing their financial performance.
  4. KPIs Monitoring: Track key performance indicators for each business unit, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on financial data.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial planning and analysis activities.
  6. Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analysis as needed to support various business initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or FP&A roles.
  3. Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  4. Excellent communication skills to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
