This position reports to

Lead Business Controller, Motion, MEA

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes. The work model for the role is: onsite. This role is contributing to the Motion in UAE. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Acting as a support for local business finance team in Record-to-Report processes, closing activities, forecasting, audit testing, IC documentation gathering and maintenance.
2. Validating the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports through reconciliations and review of exceptions.
3. Supporting in analysis of business performance, including projects support in various financial matters.
4. Optimizing their performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.
5. Ensuring processes and controls within area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with internal policies and regulations.
6. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
7. Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.
8. Preparing ad-hoc reports as per business/function’s request.

Qualifications for the role

• Strong experience in management accounting and financial analysis.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in SAP.
• High level of Excel skills.
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance.
• 5+ years of experience in a managerial role.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis.
• Power BI knowledge would be an advantage.
