Financial Analyst - Medical / Heath Insurance

Role Summary:

Seeking a mid-level Financial Analyst to support the financial planning, performance analysis, and pricing strategy of our medical insurance portfolio in the UAE. The role involves working closely with leadership to deliver data-driven insights, claims analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Claims Analysis: Identify cost drivers and trends; recommend actions to improve loss ratios.
• Pricing Support: Work with actuarial teams to assess and refine pricing strategies.
• Strategic Support: Conduct scenario modeling and financial impact studies for new initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Underwriting, Claims, and Product teams.
• Management Reporting: Track and report KPIs (e.g., loss ratios, claims performance).
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Support leadership with on-demand financial insights.
• Compliance: Assist in reserves forecasting and regulatory/audit requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in health/medical insurance.
• Strong in Excel (advanced), Power BI, and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of insurance metrics (claims ratios, loss ratios, underwriting profit).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and effective communicator.
