Currently, EDF Renewables Middle East is looking for an:

FINANCIAL ANALYST (M/F)

  • Location: Dubai
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Type of contract: Permanent contract
  • Starting Date: ASAP

In line with the setup of the Portfolio and Performance Management, you will be involved in the development of activities and tools that aim to monitor and analyze the financial performance of the portfolio from a shareholder perspective. Your main activities will be::

Portfolio management:

  • Act as Business Partner
  • Ownership, Maintain and update financial models (Shareholders; Lenders; Project Companies), run scenario and perform sensitivity analysis in close relationship with Asset Managers. On-going understanding of the Impact on Shareholders return for main events (Settlements; schedule impact; Refi;…).
  • Development of a financial dashboard to ease the financial analysis of the portfolio: Cash to Equity, IRR, Payback, NPV, portfolio valuation (DDCF, Multiple, Transactions comparable);
  • Monitoring and ensure compliance with financing documentation
  • Perform comprehensive debt analysis (rates, maturity, nominal, hedges) and ensure the monitoring of the covenant under the financial documentation;
  • Monitoring of Equity exposure of EDF in the Middle East.
  • In close collaboration with Asset Management and Project Finance Department, provide financial analysis or modelling support on refinancing or any types of capital operations
  • Support to Board, TAC and AFC members on Project management

General missions:

  • One-shot analysis to support management decision and growth: comparable, banking market screening, exposure analysis;

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Education

  • Business schools with a specialization in Corporate Finance.

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years work experience
  • Previous experience within EDF group in a financial Department is a plus
  • Experience in the Energy or in an infrastructure investment funds.
  • Financial Analysis, financial modelling, valuation, knowledge of the Energy sector
