Job description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in group consolidation reporting, monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. A strong audit background is essential. The candidate should be highly organized and demonstrate a sharp analytical mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Compile entity-level reports for group-wide consolidation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
  • Provide insights and variance analysis to explain financial results.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures.
  • Provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management.
  • Work with tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Project-wise budgets and costing analysis
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Review the work of subordinates for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional accounting experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience
