Role Description:

This role reports solid-line to the Head of Treasury and dotted-line to the Head of FP&A. The primary objectives of the position are to develop and analyze investment businesses cases, customer and product profitability, and related strategic analysis to guide the business with its investment decisions. This individual is also responsible for implementing stable, reliable, repeatable processes to quickly perform and monitor such analysis.

Core Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis

1. Develop comprehensive financial models to assess investment opportunities for new greenfield projects and expansions to existing projects.
2. Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis, under the guidance of senior team members.
3. Collect, organize, and analyze complex financial data to support client proposals and strategic plans.
4. Conduct industry-specific research to identify trends and market opportunities.
5. Prepare investment reports, presentations, and risk assessments for senior management.
6. Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and investment deals.
7. Assist in preparing Investment Committee (IC) presentations highlighting investment overviews and recommendations.
8. Fully understand the financial aspects of investment or advisory transactions.

Financial Analysis (FP&A)

1. Introduce, refine and implement advanced analytical tools for budgeting & profitability for the group business.
2. Support leadership in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) across the company, including building and maintaining financial forecasts, budgets and other reports as necessary.
3. Support the regular gross margin (GPADE) process and reporting for the local business units along with relevant business partnering of GPADE results with local team.
4. Utilize Power BI and Power Query for data transformation, integration, data load, data modeling and creating insightful reports and dashboards.
5. Continuously find ways to streamline and automate standard reporting processes to reduce manual effort and create capacity for new activities, this includes identifying opportunities for process improvement, new tools or techniques, working closely with the team.
6. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.

Job Requirements:

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance/ accounting.
2. Qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
3. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Data Analyst are an added advantage.

Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a corporate finance or investment analysis role.
2. Proven expertise using Power BI and Power Query for data transformation, integration, data load, data modeling, and creating insightful reports and dashboards.

Skills:

1. Must have a very strong analytical skill, meticulous, detail-oriented.
2. High level of computer literacy with specific requirements for One Stream, Dynamics 365, Excel, PowerBI & Power query.
3. Familiarity with EPM forecasting tools (OneStream preferred, HFM/ Tagetik or similar ok).
4. Programming experience (preferably VB Script, Python/ Java) is nice to have.
5. Knowledge of DAX to perform complex calculation measures is desirable.
6. Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, to explain complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
7. Project management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and deliver high quality solutions.

Languages:

Strong communication skills in English and Arabic is required. Turkish/ Kurdish/ Hindi are plusses.
