Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in reconciling and analyzing financial data, preparing forecasts, and providing actionable insights to improve financial performance in a service-based business environment. You will support strategic decision-making through deep financial analysis, ensuring our services remain profitable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance by service line, and country.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
- Support the development of budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control strategies.
- Create and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing, profitability, and ROI.
- Partner with operations and service delivery teams to understand business drivers and suggest improvements.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery, utilization rates, and revenue per location.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic planning.
- Ensure data integrity in financial reporting and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CIMA/ACCA/CPA is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a service industry (e.g., consulting, healthcare, legal, hospitality, education).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools; knowledge of accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a time-based billing environment (e.g., consulting, law, agency).
- Familiarity with service-oriented KPIs and financial metrics.
- Understanding of revenue recognition in service contracts or subscription models.
