Job summary

Decision Management Consultants is seeking a Financial Analyst for a well-established Construction Chemical company in the UAE. The role focuses on cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support month-end close and planning cycles.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience in costing and accounting, with CA/CIMA/ACCA qualifications and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. SAP HANA knowledge is highly preferred. On-site UAE position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Construction Chemicals company.
• CA / CIMA / ACCA qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
• SAP HANA knowledge is preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Review cost centers, cost elements, and expenses for all activities daily and monthly.
• Conduct margin analysis by product, market, customer and other categories.
• Monitor and control overall cost of production and related costs.
• Participate in month-end closing of cost accounting with process owners.
• Participate in periodic stock counts of bulk materials.
• Verify and report stores and spares inventory with stores team.
• Assist in annual business planning and budgeting processes.
• Assist in latest forecasting process.
• Prepare presentations as required by Management.
• Prepare and fulfill required analysis and reporting requirements.
• Develop tools for financial analysis and forecasting.

We're recruiting a Financial Analyst for one of our clients, a well-established Construction Chemical Company in the UAE.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Construction Chemical Company in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Review cost centers, cost elements, and expenses booked for all production, sales, and support activities on a daily and monthly basis
• Conduct margin analysis by product, market, customer, and other relevant categories
• Assist in monitoring and controlling the overall cost of production and other associated costs
• Actively participate in the month-end closing of cost accounting within the stipulated timeline, in coordination with all relevant process owners
• Actively participate in periodic stock counts of bulk materials
• Conduct quarterly verification and reporting of stores and spares inventory in coordination with the stores team
• Assist in the annual business planning and budgeting process
• Assist in the latest forecasting process
• Prepare presentations as required and guided by Management
• Prepare and fulfill required analysis and reporting requirements
• Assist in developing comprehensive tools for financial analysis and forecasting

Requirements

• Must have experience in a Construction Chemicals company
• Education: CA / CIMA / ACCA
• Must have 5+ years of experience
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA is highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Good analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of costing, accounting, and auditing
• Minimum one year of hands-on training in costing and accounting
