Job summary

DMC in the UAE is seeking a Financial Analyst for a well-established construction chemicals company. You will review cost centers, perform margin analysis by product and customer, and assist in month-end closing and budgeting.

Requirements include CA/CIMA/ACCA with 5+ years in costing and accounting, strong MS Excel and PowerPoint, and working knowledge of SAP HANA. UAE Labour Law benefits and competitive salary offered.

We're recruiting a Financial Analyst for one of our clients, a well-established Construction Chemical Company in the UAE.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Construction Chemical Company in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Review cost centers, cost elements, and expenses booked for all production, sales, and support activities on a daily and monthly basis
• Conduct margin analysis by product, market, customer, and other relevant categories
• Assist in monitoring and controlling the overall cost of production and other associated costs
• Actively participate in the month-end closing of cost accounting within the stipulated timeline, in coordination with all relevant process owners
• Actively participate in periodic stock counts of bulk materials
• Conduct quarterly verification and reporting of stores and spares inventory in coordination with the stores team
• Assist in the annual business planning and budgeting process
• Assist in the latest forecasting process
• Prepare presentations as required and guided by Management
• Prepare and fulfill required analysis and reporting requirements
• Assist in developing comprehensive tools for financial analysis and forecasting

Requirements

• Must have experience in a Construction Chemicals company
• Education: CA / CIMA / ACCA
• Must have 5+ years of experience
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA is highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Good analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of costing, accounting, and auditing
• Minimum one year of hands-on training in costing and accounting
