Job summary

Decision Management Consultancy is recruiting a Financial Analyst for a leading Construction Chemical Company in the UAE. The role involves reviewing cost centers, performing margin analysis by product and market, and supporting month-end close and budgeting processes.

The ideal candidate holds CA/CIMA/ACCA, with 5+ years of experience, and is proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP HANA. Strong costing and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Construction Chemicals company is required.
• CA / CIMA / ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with SAP HANA is highly preferred (ERP knowledge).

Responsibilities

• Review cost centers, elements, and expenses for all production, sales, and support activities.
• Conduct margin analysis by product, market, customer, and other categories.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling total production costs.
• Participate in month-end cost accounting close with process owners.
• Participate in periodic stock counts of bulk materials.
• Verify and report stores and spares inventory with stores team.
• Assist in annual budgeting and business planning.
• Assist in the latest forecasting process.
• Prepare presentations and required analyses for Management.
• Develop tools for financial analysis and forecasting.

Were recruiting a Financial Analyst for one of our clients, a well-established Construction Chemical Company in the UAE.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Construction Chemical Company in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Review cost centers, cost elements, and expenses booked for all production, sales, and support activities on a daily and monthly basis
• Conduct margin analysis by product, market, customer, and other relevant categories
• Assist in monitoring and controlling the overall cost of production and other associated costs
• Actively participate in the month-end closing of cost accounting within the stipulated timeline, in coordination with all relevant process owners
• Actively participate in periodic stock counts of bulk materials
• Conduct quarterly verification and reporting of stores and spares inventory in coordination with the stores team
• Assist in the annual business planning and budgeting process
• Assist in the latest forecasting process
• Prepare presentations as required and guided by Management
• Prepare and fulfill required analysis and reporting requirements
• Assist in developing comprehensive tools for financial analysis and forecasting

Requirements

• Must have experience in a Construction Chemicals company
  
• Education: CA / CIMA / ACCA
  
• Must have 5+ years of experience
  
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA is highly preferred
  
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  
• Good analytical skills
  
• Strong knowledge of costing, accounting, and auditing
  
• Minimum one year of hands-on training in costing and accounting
