We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. He/ she will provide Support to Manager - FP&A in forecasting, budgeting, feasibility studies, presentations, financial analysis and Business Planning. Some of their key accountabilities will be as follows:
- Assist to perform financial forecasting, reporting, operational metrics tracking, analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support, analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, financial performance and prepare monthly reports for regular leadership and shareholders reviews under the guidance of Senior Financial Analyst.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Analyze and track project budgets, commitments, and actual costs, providing regular variance analysis and actionable insights. Recommend process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards and provide support for automation on reporting / forecasting tools.
- Coordinate with various departments and monitor annual and quarterly deliverables for outside auditors.
- Administer production and distribution of internal financial reports, compile various cross functional reports.
- Recommend templates for more advanced reports in line with the industry best practice and align it to our internal requirements.
Minimum eligibility requirements and key competencies:
- Accounting / Finance university degree
- CFA is a plus.
- 3 years’ experience in Financial Modelling and Financial Analyst role
- Strong financial modeling experience with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role with strong quantitative and analytical competency.
- Experience in cost analysis, quantity surveying, cost controls, or FP&A within the real estate or construction sector is a plus.
- SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
