Job Description

Abbott Structural Heart Division is hiring a Financial Analyst-MEA, Russia & CIS based in Dubai.

About Structural Heart Division

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Finance Controller in the preparation of Company Plans, budgets, and forecasts.
2. Analyze and interpret monthly results and liaise with functional groups to determine future exposures against current benchmarks.
3. Review monthly accounts and develop commentary on variations to benchmarks for all Product Divisions. Handle special projects and ad-hoc reports as directed by the Finance Controller.
4. Assist in monitoring the performance of various product groups within the division.
5. Monitor expenses (cost centers) and highlight potential exposures to prevent overspending.
6. Prepare product profitability analyses.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance; MBA / CMA preferred.
2. Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, budgeting, and planning.
3. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Access.
4. Experience in multinational environments and bilingual capabilities.
