Job description

The Financial Analyst / Accountant will be detail-oriented and analytical. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and accurately calculate agent commissions in accordance with Company policies, contracts, and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely, error-free calculations and maintaining financial transparency for all stakeholders.

Commission Management

  • Calculate and validate monthly and ad hoc commission payments to Real Estate agents and other relevant parties based on agreed commission structures.
  • Ensure accuracy by cross-referencing sales and leasing data, contracts, and closing documents.
  • Record all deals to the Sales Board adhering to the daily and monthly cut-off policies.
  • Address and resolve any commission disputes or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.

Data Analysis, Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain and analyse records of commissions paid and outstanding payments.
  • Accounting for the commission in the accounting system on a daily basis.
  • Maintain and analyse Seniority information.
  • Any other ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Department, the Data Team and other internal departments as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed commission reports for management, including forecasts and historical trends.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by analysing commission costs in relation to sales performance.

Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, UAE labour laws, and industry regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved commission structures and automation tools.
  • Collaborate with Administration department and Data Team to maintain accurate records of agent contracts and payment terms.

System & Documentation Management

  • Utilise accounting software to extract data and manage commission calculations.
  • Update Master records on accounting software, including but not limited to commission rates, bank account details and team structure changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of commission policies, procedures, and workflows.

Policies and Procedures

  • Speak with clients and/or coworkers using clear and professional language.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company materials and information.
  • Protect the privacy and security of clients and/or coworkers.
  • Follow Company and Department policies and procedures.

Person Specification

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or commission processing – ideally within Real Estate, Brokerage, or a sales-driven environment.
  • Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related fields.
  • Working towards CFA / ACCA or similar qualification.

Skills and Abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and accounting/ERP systems (eg Tally, Xero or similar).
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong understanding of commission structures and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross- functionally with sales, HR, and finance teams.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Language English. Arabic would be advantageous.
