Financial Analyst

Location: Dubai (with cross-border collaboration)

We are afast-growing fintech company with operating subsidiaries across Sub-SaharanAfrica. Our mission is to provide responsible, innovative financial solutionsthat promote financial inclusion and empower underserved communities. We arehiring a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for overseeing the companysfinancial planning, analysis, reporting, and capital management across multiplemarkets.

This is ahigh-impact role open to professionals at various levels of experience frommid-level to senior and director-level candidates, including those who havepreviously held CFO roles. The individual will lead the finance functionindependently and work closely with the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting,and long-term financial planning for the holding company and itssubsidiaries
  • Analyze financial andoperational performance across markets; provide insights and data-drivenrecommendations to support strategic decisions
  • Manage capital planning,monitor liquidity, and support fundraising or investor engagement efforts
  • Prepare and presentconsolidated financial reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure regulatory and taxcompliance across jurisdictions in Sub-Saharan Africa; collaborate withlocal teams to meet government and audit requirements
  • Design and implementfinancial processes, controls, and systems to improve reporting accuracyand operational efficiency
  • Support risk management, costoptimization, and scenario analysis in fast-changing environments
  • Serve as the key financialresource for country CEOs and leadership, without direct reporting to aCFO

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance,Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Masters degree or CPA / ACCA /CIMA preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressiveexperience in finance, ideally within fintech, lending, or emergingmarkets
  • Demonstrated ability to leador independently manage financial functions across multiple countries orsubsidiaries
  • Strong financial modeling andanalytical skills; proficient in Excel and financial systems
  • Deep understanding of IFRS,local compliance requirements, and multi-currency operations
  • Strategic mindset withhands-on execution capability; able to thrive in fast-paced, evolvingenvironments
  • Excellent communicationskills with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach
