Job summary

TASC Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant to support month-end closing, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, supplier prepayments, audits, and accounting process improvements in the UAE.

You will also assist the finance team with the GRP system, ensure accuracy of trial balances, and contribute to strengthening controls and reporting while sharing knowledge with UAE nationals as part of a continuous development program.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Experience with month-end closing, fixed assets, inventory, and supplier prepayments.
• Experience supporting external audits.
• Familiarity with ERP / GRP financial systems.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial data and ensure account balances are matched with the trial balance.
• Perform fixed asset reconciliation and asset register management.
• Book and verify invoices.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Reconcile supplier prepayments with trial balance.
• Ensure timely monthly closing of books.
• Support external auditors with required documentation.
• Assist the finance team with GRP system guidance.
• Support improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting.
• Share knowledge and development of UAE national colleagues.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial data and ensure account balances are accurately matched with the trial balance.
• Perform fixed asset reconciliation and ensure the asset register agrees with the trial balance.
• Book and verify invoices accurately.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Reconcile supplier prepayment accounts with the trial balance.
• Ensure timely monthly closing of books.
• Support external auditors and provide required financial documentation.
• Assist the finance team with guidance and training on the GRP financial system, when required.
• Support improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting.
• Share knowledge and support the development of UAE national colleagues.
• Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

• Strong accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Good understanding of trial balance, month-end closing, fixed assets, inventory, and supplier prepayments.
