About Your Team

You will be part of LINQ’s Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. The team plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and performance monitoring across modular construction operations. Working closely with project and operational teams, Finance drives accountability, efficiency, and transparency within the business.

Your Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in line with IFRS.
  • Perform variance analysis, account reviews, and reconciliations to explain financial performance.
  • Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger through accurate postings, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Lead month-end close activities, ensuring timely accruals and cut-offs.
  • Work within ERP systems (Infor LN preferred) to validate transactions, resolve discrepancies, and support operational teams.
  • Ensure VAT compliance and support audit requirements with accurate schedules and reconciliations.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
  • Strengthen internal controls and propose system and process improvements for greater efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in financial accounting, ideally within manufacturing or construction. UAE experience is advantageous.
  • Systems: ERP proficiency (Infor LN preferred) with strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IFRS, accounting mechanics, and financial statement linkages.
  • Attributes: Analytical mindset, hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
