Job Purpose

As the Finance Team Lead , the focus areas include analyzing risks and internal controls related to revenue, credit cards, indirect taxes, master management, and disbursements. The role involves identifying solutions, mitigating risks, and ensuring accuracy in financial accounting through GL review and reconciliation, in compliance with Group Policies. It also covers Group Finance Masters – Revenue and Cost, Revenue / Yield reporting, and facilitating tax compliance.

In This Role, You Will

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review team activities, recommend process improvements, and ensure implementation.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs and work instructions, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Work with auditors to resolve queries and observations.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the team to meet KPIs efficiently.

Within EK Revenue Services :

  • Manage forward sales liabilities accounting and reporting.
  • Ensure receivables from all sales channels are accurate and timely.
  • Manage pre-paid commissions and discounts.
  • Oversee the Sales Processing Control unit for verification and action.
  • Handle Default agent processing per IATA regulations.
  • Support with analytical and compliance data for decision-making and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Airline Finance - Revenue Accounting
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with system changes, UAT, and compliance audits.
  • Strong business partnership skills, industry project experience.
  • Effective communication with senior management.
  • Advanced analytical, presentation, and leadership skills.
