Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a GTx Business Finance professional in Abu Dhabi to drive financial governance, performance analysis, budgeting and strategy for the GTx business, reporting to the VP Finance.

The role partners with Treasury, FR, and Operations, delivering accurate P&L and balance sheet reviews, capex analyses, and value reporting to support decision making and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications preferred, e.g. Business bachelor's degree.
• Self-starter with experience in financial analysis and performance analysis.
• Strong presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Technical knowledge of banking products and financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control & Governance Oversight across GTx. Review P&L and balance sheet, flag variances.
• Assess integrity of financial information and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with Account controllers and GFC for conformance testing.
• Maintain financial controls framework and SOP documentation.
• Support VP/BH in GTx Finance with analytics and reporting.
• Review Capex benefits and track revenue/cost savings for GTx.
• Develop GTx project Capex reports and YoY spend insights.
• Collaborate with channels and product teams to understand project benefits.
