Role Summary – Finance Manager (UAE)

You will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, compliance, and strategic alignment across Averda’s UAE operations. You will lead budgeting, financial reporting, and transaction management, while ensuring full compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering operational excellence and accountability across the function.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountancy qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business
• Masters’ Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business (advantageous)

Knowledge

• Emerging market banking products and working experience in emerging markets
• Financial statement preparation and financial statement analysis, including an ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on the financial statements
• Activities within the controllership organization and the responsibilities of financial controllership

Technical Competencies

• Advanced skills on MS Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Oracle systems, Hyperion, BI Tools and Cash Management tools
• Strong grip over IFRS and local GAAP
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Experience

• Minimum 8 Years of experience in financial accounting
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in monitoring service levels and implementing corrective actions
