Job summary

Amazon UAE is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial controllership, develop robust reporting and analysis frameworks, and translate insights into actionable business strategies that drive growth and profitability.

You will manage forecasting and budgeting, design financial policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the company's financial roadmap in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business or a relevant field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field is valued.
• Proficiency with SQL/ETL and large-scale data mining/reporting tools.
• Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results.
• Strong business English written and spoken communication.

About the team

• Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
• Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses or experience in tax finance or a related analytical field
• Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
• Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or a Bachelors degree and experience in tax finance or a related analytical field
• Experience in Business English skills both verbal and written
• MBA or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
