Operating in the casual dining restaurant sector, our client is seeking a talented Finance Manager (FP&A) to join their team and contribute to their ambitious expansion plans in the UAE and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support strategic business objectives. Provide actionable insights through variance analysis and scenario planning.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including P&L, cash flow, and KPI dashboards, to senior management to drive informed decision-making.
  • Cost Management: Analyse cost structures across operations, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements while maintaining quality standards.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial guidance, support new brand launches, and evaluate profitability of existing and potential ventures.
  • Forecasting & Modelling: Build and maintain robust financial models to assess business performance, investment opportunities, and market trends in the F&B industry.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline FP&A processes, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and compliance in financial operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in the F&B, hospitality, or retail sector. Experience in the UAE or GCC market is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. Expertise in tools like Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to drive business performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the F&B industry, including revenue streams, cost drivers, and market dynamics in a competitive environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced setting.
  • Adaptable, innovative, and aligned with the entrepreneurial spirit of a growing F&B business in Dubai’s vibrant market.
