The Finance Manager will play a central role in protecting and strengthening the organization’s financial position. The role involves leading the finance function, ensuring compliance with local regulations, driving financial efficiency, and delivering accurate insights that support long-term growth. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on management across all areas of finance.
Main Responsibilities
Accounting & Closing
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budget process and rolling forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis to highlight performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal use and external stakeholders.
- Develop cash flow projections and share updates with senior leadership on liquidity status.
- Deliver special reports and presentations as required by management.
Taxation & Compliance
- Oversee VAT and Corporate Tax submissions, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and integrate them into company processes.
Audit & Controls
- Act as the key contact for external auditors and manage audit timelines.
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
Procurement & Approvals
- Review and authorize purchase orders, ensuring financial discipline in procurement.
Cost & Profitability Management
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve margins.
Treasury & Banking
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Track cash positions and optimize use of funds to ensure liquidity.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the finance team.
- Provide clear guidance on accounting treatments and financial processes.
ERP & Systems
- Manage financial aspects of the ERP system and coordinate with technology partners on enhancements.
- Draft, implement, and maintain financial policies covering payments, petty cash, procurement, and tax compliance.
Inventory & Stock Oversight
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Experience
- At least 10 years in finance or accounting roles, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
- Strong ERP knowledge; SAP B1 experience is a plus.
- Background in manufacturing, agri-commodities, or food sector is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- High attention to accuracy and detail.

- In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations and taxation.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is beneficial.
