Our client, a leading global hospitality startup is expanding it's team in Dubai!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the assessment of corporate development plans, multi-year strategies, and growth opportunities through advanced financial modeling.
  • Track performance against weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets; deliver actionable performance insights through analytical review and trend analysis.
  • Assist in developing and executing routine processes to monitor the companys financial and operational performance.
  • Build and maintain scenario models to evaluate business development and expansion strategies.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for monthly and quarterly senior leadership meetings and other strategic initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and validate key data to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to support financial reporting accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Lead the planning and preparation of annual budgets and regular forecast updates.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, cash flow tracking, and monthly closing activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Support tax planning and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring full compliance with UAE financial laws.
  • Conduct cost and profitability analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process consistency.
  • Partner with senior management across departments to establish effective planning and analysis frameworks.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to support and achieve company-wide financial goals (P&L delivery).
  • Supervise special finance projects as needed, contributing to operational improvements and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 -6 years of experience in Finance, preferably in the hospitality or startup industry.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and bookkeeping.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent numerical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and financial compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Prior experience supervising or contributing to special finance-related projects is an advantage.
