Job description

A leading international professional services firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of its Dubai office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the firm’s strategic and operational objectives within a dynamic, global environment. Reporting to regional and global finance leadership, the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial support for the Dubai office. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, proven leadership capability, and a sound understanding of the financial and regulatory landscape in the UAE. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the finance and accounting operations for the Dubai office, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and alignment with global policies. • Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior stakeholders. • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with practice groups and senior management. • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expenditure while implementing effective cost control and optimization strategies. • Manage billing, collections, WIP, and debtor performance to maintain financial integrity. • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant authorities. • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other tax filings. • Provide financial modeling and commercial analysis to support pricing, business development, and profitability initiatives. • Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. • Collaborate with the global finance team to ensure consistency in systems, processes, and reporting standards.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent). • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a senior finance role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position. • Prior experience within a UAE-based multinational law firm, professional services environment, or Big Four firm is strongly preferred. • Comprehensive knowledge of UAE tax regulations, including VAT, and local financial compliance standards. • Proficient in financial systems such as Elite 3E, SAP, or Oracle, with strong Excel capabilities. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment. • This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to contribute to a well-established and respected global firm, while leading a critical regional finance function.
