Finance Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Create an overall organizational finance strategy to ensure financial well-being of the company.
2. Drive the company’s short-term and long-term financial planning for the organization.
3. Prepare reliable current and forecast reports.
4. Manage regular preparation of financial statements, reports and recommendations for VP.
5. Establish Financial and Commercial KPIs across the company’s various functions, overseeing forecasts and actuals, and monitoring performance.
6. Proactively identify opportunities to improve KPIs and key metrics across the organization.
7. Evaluate and manage the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure, building relationships with and pitching to potential investors.
8. Manage investor relations, providing regular updates and reports to shareholders.
9. Coordinate company audit and compliance activities.
10. Manage banking relationships.
11. Oversee cash flow and cash management processes to ensure sufficient cash availability and best practices in cash management.
12. Coordinate corporate taxation compliance and planning, minimizing exposure and identifying potential opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or related field; 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Detail-oriented and analytical.
Retail experience is essential.
