About the Role
Our client is seeking a high-calibre Finance Manager to join a leading FMCG organization in Dubai. This role will work closely with senior leadership and will combine strong financial expertise with business partnering, strategic analysis, performance management, and executive-level reporting.
The ideal candidate will be commercially oriented, highly analytical, and comfortable converting complex financial and business information into clear insights, presentations, dashboards, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
Key Responsibilities
FP&A & Business Performance
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and periodic business review processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyze revenue, margins, costs, profitability, working capital, and key business KPIs.
- Track actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and business plans, highlighting key variances and underlying drivers.
- Provide forward-looking insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and evaluation of strategic business initiatives.
Management Reporting & Presentations
- Prepare high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for senior leadership.
- Develop executive presentations, dashboards, charts, and business review decks that clearly communicate financial and operational performance.
- Translate financial data into concise business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Prepare business performance packs for leadership meetings and strategic reviews.
- Build visually strong and easy-to-understand financial presentations for senior stakeholders.
Business Partnering
- Partner closely with commercial, sales, supply chain, operations, and other functional teams to understand business performance.
- Work with business leaders to identify opportunities, risks, cost optimization areas, and growth levers.
- Challenge assumptions and provide an independent financial perspective on key business decisions.
- Support leadership in evaluating new initiatives, investments, pricing decisions, market opportunities, and business cases.
Strategic & Leadership Support
- Conduct analysis on key strategic priorities and prepare decision-support materials for senior management.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs for important business initiatives and ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions.
- Monitor key organizational priorities, milestones, and performance indicators.
- Support senior leadership with ad-hoc analysis, research, business cases, and financial insights as required.
- Bring structure, rigor, and data-driven thinking to strategic and operational discussions.
Candidate Profile
- CA / Chartered Accountant with 6–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in FP&A, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prior experience in FMCG is strongly preferred; candidates from other high-volume, consumer-facing businesses may also be considered.
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to connect financial performance to business drivers.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations, dashboards, charts, and financial models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader strategic perspective.
