Job summary

Career Raiser is seeking a qualified Financial Controller in Dubai to lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, IFRS implementation, and MIS reporting. The role requires hands-on ERP experience and advanced Excel, with a focus on improving financial controls and profitability.

You will oversee consolidation of group accounts, working capital management, and liaise with auditors, bankers and tax authorities. ACCA/CIMA/ACA is required; regional experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ACA credential.
• Experience in IFRS, budgeting, forecasting.
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong reporting to senior management.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff.

Should be experienced in the areas of Financial Planning, Trade Finance, Setting up policies & procedures, IFRS, Integrated Budgeting & Forecasting using Excel, Designing KPIs to increase productivity and efficiency, Structured system development and implementation, Eye catching & decision oriented MIS Reports, Inventory Management, Business Plan preparation and implementation, Consolidation of Group Companies & Branch Accounts, Working Capital arrangement and management, Optimum Fund utilization, Overseeing Accounting & Credit Control function, Auditing etc.

Responsibilities

Qualities

• A fully Qualified Accountant eg. ACCA/ CIMA / ACA

• Excellent eye for detail, diligent knowledge of accounting regulations
• Ability to report to senior managers
• Capabilities to supervise, manage and lead staff
• Excellent commercial flair and industry experience
• Should have hands-on experience in ERP environment & adept in Adv. Excel.
• Determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures in consultation with top management to facilitate internal financial control.
• Designing business plans / strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation & realize corporate goals; spearheading business process re-engineering initiatives.
• Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
