Job Description

  1. Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS and internal policies.
  2. Generate management reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and variance analysis.
  3. Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely delivery of reconciliations and adjustments.
  4. Prepare group-level consolidated reports, ensuring financial data from all entities is accurately captured.
  5. Support the CFO with board reports, budget vs. actual reports, and ad hoc financial analysis for strategic decisions.
  6. Monitor and report on financial KPIs and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Oversee timely Corporate Tax and VAT filing in compliance with UAE regulations.
  8. Maintain accurate tax records and coordinate with external advisors or tax consultants.
  9. Ensure all statutory and internal compliance requirements are met on time.
  10. Keep up to date with changes in UAE tax laws and their financial impact on the business.
  11. Manage all month-end reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, receivables, payables, and accruals.
  12. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances or financial data.
  13. Strengthen internal controls and financial processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
  14. Lead and supervise the finance and accounts team to ensure accurate day-to-day operations.
  15. Assign tasks, review performance, and support team development through regular feedback and training.
  16. Act as a bridge between finance and other departments to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
  17. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure all audit requirements are met.
  18. Address queries raised during the audit process and ensure smooth closure.
  19. Maintain up-to-date documentation for financial transactions and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in a similar role, preferably in a group or multi-entity setup.
  • Deep understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT laws.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
  • Experience using accounting systems (ERP/SAP/Zoho/Tally/QuickBooks).
  • Proficient in Excel, data analysis, and report automation.
  • Strong communication, team leadership, and organizational skills.
